The Wine: The grapes are harvested by hand from vineyards with an average age exceeding 30 years. The Grenache grapes comes from Ardeché, Syrah and Mourvèdre from the northeastern parts of Gard. Skin maceration for about 30 days to give the wine extra strength and depth. After the alcohol fermentation the wine has been stored for more than 14 months in concrete tanks, followed by a soft filtration.

Taste and food pairing: This red wine is very generous and musty, with hints of dark berries as well as spices and black pepper. The wine has good length with elegant fruit structure, which makes it the perfect match for Entrecôte and bearnaise.

Serve at 16-18°C.
