Champagne Gremillet Clos Rocher

The Wine: The grapes are sourced from the producer's vineyards in the village of Balnot in the Côte des Bar, in this case from their 'Clos', Clos Rocher, which is a 1.4 hectare walled vineyard planted exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes. Only the first pressing has been used for the wine. The wine has been stored for about 7 years on the lees. The production was 2500 bottles, and 2013 is the first vintage ever of this wine. The wine has great storage potential.

Taste and food pairing: Dry and crisp with hints of red and green apple, grapefruit, plum, toast, hazelnut and mineral. Serve with grilled fish, light poultry and light meat with tasty accessories and preferably with hints of acidity in the food.

Serve at 8-10°C.
