The Wine: Exciting, and a slightly unusual sparkling wine made from Negroamaro alone, which is usually used for the area's full-bodied red wines. The wine is produced using the Martinotti method, also called Charmat. After a first fermentation, the base wine is transferred to pressure tanks where yeast and sugar are added. A second fermentation then takes place, after which the wine is filtered, dosage is added and finally bottled. The result is a well-preserved fruitiness and lively mousse.

Taste and food pairing: A dry and fresh wine, with notes of citrus fruits and good length. Best suited as an aperitif, or with seafood dishes. Excellent with sheep- or goat cheese.

Giortì means festivity or party in Greek - this wine is a perfect choice for larger events and festive occasions.

Serve at 8-10°C.
