The Wine: Hand-harvested grapes from organic vineyards in Eastern Marche, located about 5 km from the Adriatic sea. 10% of the grapes were harvested later than the rest to give the wine added power and concentration. The wine has been matured in oak for 6 months.
Taste and food pairing: The nose is intense with hints of oak, sun dried cherries, herbs and spices. The palate is rich and balanced, with soft tannins and good length.
Serve at 16-18°C with tasty meat dishes, pasta or a home made pizza with vegetables.
